Shelley is a highly experienced management consultant with expertise in performance improvement, organisation design, organisational change management and business process re-engineering. She has worked across most industries in the public and private sector in either a governance, leadership or consulting role. Before setting up MCG in January 2014, Shelley led KPMG’s People and Change practice.
Shelley saw the potential of the Health and Safety at Work Act to change New Zealand’s culture. She wanted to contribute to the conversation in a practical way, helping at a systemic and organisational level to sustainably improve our safety performance and improve our economic performance at the same time.
Shelley has a commerce degree from Canterbury. She is a Fellow of HRINZ and a chartered director with the Institute of Directors.
When she can, she takes her sense of humour out to the golf course and gets a lot of exercise hitting the ball more than most people. She also enjoys adventures with her husband, from wild camping in Botswana to sailing in the Greek Islands to touring the countryside on the motorbike.
