Dave Frow


Dave FrowDave is a director or chair of a number of companies, mostly in energy or engineering disciplines. He has served on NZX- and ASX-listed companies and guided various start-ups.

In addition to his governance roles, he provides strategic consulting and executive mentoring to a range of companies.

Dave was previously Chief Executive of the Electricity Corporation of New Zealand (ECNZ) and was actively involved in the major reform of the electricity industry. He has worked in a number of companies involved in high risk industries and has been proactive in establishing strong safety culture change programmes.

Dave is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors. He has a BSc Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Natal and graduated from the Advanced Management Programme at the Harvard Business School.

As might be expected of an engineer, Dave tinkers with classic cars and building a replica 1963 racing car. He enjoys motorcycling, keeps fit on the golf course and tends 400 trees in La Belle Vie olive grove in Martinborough.
